But I wonder if we could start to sell items now. We are not experts in the items we make, so is it fair to sell those items that aren’t perfect yet? What do you think? We have thought about selling our deer tallow candles, upcycled plastic pouches, and maybe knitted or sewn items.
In this day and age there are many options to getting homemade stuff sold: craft fairs, artist stores, and online stores like Etsy. Where should we start?

I love the coin purse, very inventive! I'm not sure what the right vehicle for selling your creations is either...we've often thought about it too, but that's as far as we got. Your candles and other items are truly unique, I'm sure they would sell. We were at an art gallery in Door County a few weeks ago and the owner said he welcomes original artwork but his sales commission is 40%. Ouch. I'm hopeful there's less pricey alternatives out there.
